Šimuntov dvor is not a hotel. It is not a guesthouse either. It is a unique historic estate in the hills above Nová Baňa, where the scent of wood and the natural imperfection of stone tell a story several centuries old — where you can rest from everything that usually tugs at your sleeve.
The whole estate is yours alone: three apartments for a group of up to 12 guests, a Finnish sauna and an outdoor hot tub, a big garden with majestic trees, a terrace for morning coffees, and the kind of quiet most of us only remember from a rural childhood. The Tajch lake in Nová Baňa and Banská Štiavnica are both within easy reach.
