Resort at the foot of Pohronský Inovec. In winter: 3 slopes, kids' lift, night skiing, cross-country tracks and a snowpark. In summer: a bike park with 7 trails and a lift, climbing wall and gear rental.
A recreation area around a historic bell tower from 1874. A children's via ferrata (three sectors, difficulty B–C, suitable from around age 8), a snack bar with equipment rental, forest playground and climbing wall. A nature trail continues to Červená and Havrania skala and the Háj lookout tower.
The area offers an extensive network of cycling routes — from easy rides along the Hron river to mountain trails in Pohronský Inovec and the Štiavnica Hills. A clear map of cycling trips in the region, filterable by type (touring, mountain or road cycling), is available at Za horami, za dolami. For more demanding riders there is also the Drozdovo Bikepark (see above).
A large family park in the foothills of Vtáčnik with over 40 animal species, a petting corner, playground, fishing lake and a fairy-tale trail. A great choice for a full-day trip with children, easily combined with a visit to the nearby Revište castle ruins.

A late-18th-century reservoir surrounded by forest. Grassy beaches, a walking loop around the lake (stroller-friendly), swimming, fishing. In summer: open-air cinema, concerts and a small children's zoo. Free entry.

A hidden waterfall on Starohutský stream in the forests of Pohronský Inovec, just a short walk from the estate. An easy forest stroll suitable for families — most beautiful in spring and after rain when the stream is full.
The only waterfall in the Štiavnica Hills, hidden in the forest between Rudno nad Hronom and Voznica. In drier summer months it may carry less water — most beautiful in spring and after rain.
Year-round thermal aquapark in Vyhne. Outdoor and indoor pools with thermal water rich in iron, wellness, water slides and sports facilities. The largest pool is kept at around 37 °C.
A popular tajch lake below Sitno peak. Swimming, camping, fishing, rowing boats and a loop trail. Ideal for a full day out — combine with a hike to Sitno and a visit to Banská Štiavnica.
A network of historic reservoirs around Banská Štiavnica — mostly free-to-access lakes for swimming, fishing, boat trips and walks. The best-known are Počúvadlo, Veľká Vindšachta, Klinger, Evička and Richňava, each with its own character.

Two loops following the mining history of Nová Baňa. Route A (4.3 km) runs through more demanding forest terrain to surface and medieval underground mines; Route B passes through the Vŕšky district and covers 16th–19th century mining.
A gothic castle above the village of Revištské Podzámčie, gradually being restored. A short walk from the car park (about 500 m) and a lovely view over the Žarnovica area. Easy to combine with a visit to the neighbouring Zveropark.
Ruins of a 13th-century Gothic castle on Skalka hill in the Tribeč hills, destroyed in 1708. Accessible from the village of Skýcov, with beautiful views over the surrounding forests.
