We value your privacy. Below is a clear overview of what personal data we process about you, why, for how long, and what rights you have in this respect.
This information is prepared in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data.

- On accommodation (guest register): full name, date of birth, permanent residence address, ID card or passport number, nationality and length of stay — to the extent required from us as an accommodation provider by the legislation listed in section 3.

3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
- Handling the booking and providing accommodation. Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party, or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Compliance with our legal obligations. In particular keeping the guest register (Act No. 253/1998 Coll. on the reporting of residence of Slovak citizens), the reporting obligation for the accommodation of foreigners (Act No. 404/2011 Coll. on the residence of foreigners), collection of the local accommodation tax (Act No. 582/2004 Coll. on local taxes and the generally binding regulation of the town of Nová Baňa) and keeping of accounting records (Act No. 431/2002 Coll. on accounting) — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
- Communication with the Guest and protection of our legitimate interests. Handling enquiries, communication before, during and after the stay, protection of the estate's property and dealing with any complaints or disputes — legitimate interest of the Controller, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Sending offers and news by email, if you subscribe to them — solely on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
4. Retention period
- Booking and communication data: for the duration of the contractual relationship and then 3 years after the end of the stay, in line with the general limitation period (for possible complaints or disputes).
- Guest register and other data required by law: for the period set out in the applicable legislation.
- Accounting and tax documents: 10 years under the Accounting Act.
- Data processed on the basis of consent (e.g. newsletters): until consent is withdrawn.
5. Recipients of personal data
- Providers of the technical infrastructure of the website and the booking form.
- Accountant / tax advisor.
- Booking platforms, if you book your stay through them (e.g. Booking.com, Megaubytovanie.sk) — your data is then also processed by the operator of that platform under its own rules.
- Public authorities, where required by law — in particular the town of Nová Baňa (local accommodation tax), the Police Force of the Slovak Republic (reporting obligation for the accommodation of foreigners) and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Slovak Republic (register of short-term rental accommodation units).
We have, or will conclude before starting cooperation, a data processing agreement with each processor ensuring an appropriate level of protection. We do not sell your personal data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Transfers to third countries
We process your personal data mainly on servers within the EU/EEA. If one of our service providers processes data outside the EU/EEA, this is done exclusively on the basis of appropriate GDPR safeguards (e.g. an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses).
7. Your rights
As a data subject you have, in particular, the right to:
- access your personal data and information about its processing,
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data,
- erasure of data ("right to be forgotten"), unless we are legally required to retain it,
- restriction of processing,
